SAINT LUCIA EXTENDED A WARM WELCOME TO CAPTAIN TODD BURGMAN AND GUESTS VISITING PORT CASTRIES FOR THE FIRST TIME ON APR. 3.

Luxurious cruise liner, Mein Schiff 6, recently made its inaugural visit to Saint Lucia.

On arrival, the passengers, crew, and Ship Captain Todd Burgman were greeted by distinguished figures including Parliamentary Secretary within the Ministry of Tourism, Hon. Guibion Ferdinand, and the Communications and Public Relations Officer for the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA), Geena Mc.Phee.

Captain Todd was presented with a basket of local condiments by the Junior Minister for Tourism, Ms. Terina Bretney. The gesture symbolized the island's rich cultural heritage and served as a token of appreciation for choosing Saint Lucia as a destination on the TUI cruise itinerary. The presentation was followed by a plaque exchange to mark the ship's historic first visit to the island.

In her remarks, Geena Mc.Phee conveyed wishes that the vessel’s first visit to the island would be truly memorable: “We are always honored to welcome a new vessel and we are pleased that you have chosen Saint Lucia as part of your cruise itinerary. I hope that you will be able to bask in what we offer as an island,” she said.

While this was the Mein Schiff 6’s first birthing at Port Castries, Captain Todd Burgman had previously visited the island on board other vessels from the Mein Schiff fleet.
