THIS YEAR’S THEME SEEKS TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO EMBRACE INNOVATION BY EXPLORING NEW IDEAS AND TECHNOLOGIES

The Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives, and Consumer Affairs, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), is excited to announce the upcoming 17th Annual Saint Lucia Taiwan Partnership Trade Show, scheduled to be held at the Pavilion on the Ramp, Rodney Bay, from November 1st to November 3rd, 2024, under the theme "Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: Shaping the Future of Business."

This year’s theme seeks to encourage participants to embrace innovation by exploring new ideas and technologies, integrate diverse skills and perspectives to create cohesive and dynamic business strategies, and inspire others through visionary leadership and impactful initiatives. By focusing on these core principles, the Ministry aims to shape a future where businesses are resilient, adaptable, and poised for sustainable growth in an ever-changing global landscape.

A major highlight of this year’s tradeshow is the emphasis on digitalization in the modern business landscape. Additionally, this year’s event will promote Business to Business (B2B) interactions with the following objectives:

Foster trade and collaboration between Saint Lucian and Taiwanese companies.
Support the adoption of new products and services within domestic value chains.
Expand the domestic market share for Saint Lucian manufacturers and service providers.

In this regard, the Ministry of Commerce invites applications from creative and innovative manufacturers and service providers who are interested in participating in this year’s Trade Show, to collect registration forms from the Ministry or download at www.commerce.gov.lc. While all applications are welcome, priority will be given to enterprises that are focused on the use of innovative technology within their operations. The deadline for receipt of applications is Monday, August 12th, 2024. The Ministry of Commerce will review all applications and confirm participation on or before Friday, September 6th, 2024.
