A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM OF MORE THAN 43 HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WILL PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE AND TRAINING.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs is thrilled to announce the arrival of the United States Air Force Southern Medical Mission, Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team 2025 (LAMAT-25). This marks the fourth U.S. Medical Mission to our island, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible partnership.

A multidisciplinary team of over 43 health professionals—including specialists in vascular surgery, general surgery, cardiology, anesthesiology, respiratory therapy, biomedical technology, dentistry, and more—will provide life-saving care and medical training to the people of Saint Lucia.

This year’s mission is even more special as it includes collaboration with Taiwan’s highly-skilled medical team, further enhancing the quality of care and expertise being shared.

Saint Lucia welcomes the LAMAT-25 team and thanks them for their dedication to improving healthcare in our communities.
